Parish of Serpa municipality - Vila Nova de São Bento and Vale de Vargo (officially, the Union of Parishes of Vila Nova de São Bento and Vale de Vargo) was a Portuguese civil parish in the municipality of Serpa, covering an area of 299.61 km² and with 3,435 inhabitants (2021 census). It was created during the 2012/2013 administrative reorganization, resulting from the merger of the former parishes of Vila Nova de São Bento and Vale de Vargo. It was dissolved on March 14, 2025, and the merged parishes were restored to their original status by Law no. 25-A/2025 (Wikipedia).
