Humlebekk claim is situated 1 km west of the farm with the same name and a few hundred meter east of Himsjøen. The claim consist of 3 shafts.
The claim was in operation between 1860 and 1870 and during WWI. The claim was operated by private owners.
Officially the minerals they mined for was galena and sphalerite but it's quite clear that the main intention for mining was the silver. It was only Kongsberg Silver mines that had right to take out silver so therefore this became a secret.
