An operating limestone quarry located south of Bowmanville on the south side of Highway 401 and the Canadian National Railways tracks, just west of Waverley Road.

This quarry has a layer of black shale which has produced very good specimens of Trilobites and some shells.

Mineralogically, very little but some pyrite partial replacements of fossils, and minor Calcite.

In 2016 an application was lodged to extend the quarry into an underground opeation beneath Lake Ontario in essentially a south-easterly direction.

Not to be confused with the St Marys Quarry in Blanshard Township located approximately 1.3kms south of Highway 7 at St Marys.
