A former feldspar mine located in Cecebe village, near the top of a steep ridge on the north side of Cecebe Lake, about 12km northwest of Burk's Falls.
Mineralization is hosted in granite pegmatite.
Pink, fine- to medium-textured graphic granite suitable for lapidary purposes is abundant at this feldspar mine. It occurs in pegmatite composed of pink microcline, colorless to smoky quartz, muscovite, and biotite. Accessory minerals include chlorite, magnetite, hematite, garnet (tiny pink crystals), bastnaesite (dull black laths), euxenite (dark reddish-brown glassy grains), and zircon (tiny brown tetragonal prisms).
The deposit was worked for a brief time in 1948 by J. Bell of Burk's Falls Feldspar Syndicate Limited. About 45 tons were removed from a pit 16m by 3m with a 7m face.
