Köppen climate type:
Crystals of green fluorapatite, feldspar, pyroxene and titanite are found in orange calcite. Tiny flakes of biotite are seen here and there in the calcite veins. These veins are hosted in amphibolite and gneissic rocks. The occurrence is located on highway 327, approximately 3 kilometers from highway 117 (near Lac Maskinongé), and is exposed in two small roadcuts on the west side of the road.
