This was a 74 acre site that supplied crushed rock, gravel, and bituminous concrete for many large New England road projects. There were two main quarry pits and also an asphalt plant.
The location was active from 1902 to 2001. It was operated by the Robinson family from 1929 onward. Today two pits, 385 and 425 feet deep, are now flooded.
