MVT-type Zn(-Pb) mineralization within the Mesozoic Basque-Cantabrian basin (BCB) in northern Spain. It consists of small (50 x 50 to 200 x 200 m) stratabound ore bodies of disseminated sphalerite, together with minor galena and bournonite.

The ore bodies are in an abandoned mining area around the village of Itxaspe.
