Otvovice is a village and municipality in Kladno District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Otvovice and its surroundings were intensively exploited for black coal from the half of the 18th century. There are more than twenty reported mines, but after 1945 only three were active: Jan (John), Felix-Jan (Felix John), and František de Paula. The last operating mine was Jan which was closed in 1965. From a mineralogical point of view, the most important locality is the dump of the Felix mine in the center of Otvovice village (pelosiderite concretions with crystalized carbonates - siderite and ankerite with notable crystals of pyrite, millerite, and others).
