A city. Alternate names: Bed Bug, Bedbug, Freeze Out, Hardscrabble, Ione City, Jone City, Jone Valley, Rickeyville ., and Woosterville

This city was an important supply center on the main road to the Mother Lode during the California Gold Rush. Although not a mining town per se, it is central to a host of clay deposits and clay mining pits as well as a few metal mines.
