Rašovka (German: Raschen) is a settlement, a local part of Šimonovice, located 5.5 kilometers southeast of Ještěd. The first written mention of the village dates from 1537.

From 1961 until then, the independent settlement Rašovka became a part of Šimonovice and in the middle of 1980, together with Šimonovice, it moved under Dlouhý Most. From January 1, 1986, however, it again belonged to Šimonovice, but together with the latter, it formed part of the city of Liberec and ceased to be listed as part of the municipality. This situation changed at the beginning of 2010 when a special part of Šimonovice began to form again.

The V trčí restaurant has been built by the road crossing the Ještěd ridge, which also includes a 19.5-meter-high brick lookout tower. From here, visitors can see the Jizera Mountains, the Giant Mountains, the Bohemian Paradise or the Macha Area in good weather.
