The igneous formations primarily comprise the Triassic Xiazhuang granite, characterized by medium-grained biotite granite, and the Maofeng granite, recognized for its fine-grained muscovite granite, minor NW-trending gabbroic veinlets. Within the deposit, faults are evident, including the NE-striking Xinqiao fault and parallel secondary NE-striking silicified fault zones. Among these structures, the northeast-trending Xinqiao fracture stands out as the primary ore-controlling feature of the deposit, extending approximately 2 km in outcrop length. Most of uranium ore bodies are situated in the wedge-shaped area between the Xinqiao fault and the silicified fault zones.
