"(Coming from Montsauche). South of Saulieu on the N80 until Pierre-Écrite. Turn right on the D510. Old mines with baryte, sphalerite, galena, hematite, and quartz." [Belot, 1978]

Located 13 kilometers south of the City of Saulieu, Alligny en Morvan is on the main road D121. Old mine worked for galena (lead).
