Several phlogopite-bearing pyroxenite that has been mined for mica. Located south of the Hazofotsy river and south-east of Betroka.
Concession P.E. 311 S.M.G.I (Sociéte Mines Grande Ile) (Besaire 1966).
The map coordinates given by Besaire (1966) are: X =295, Y= 316 (Map sheet Betroka et Est Benenitra)

Large crystals of spinel found in calcite on the dumps were reported by Savornin (1934).
