A gem-bearing pegmatite area approximately 9 miles south of the town of Anza, in the mountains east of Iron Spring Canyon and Cooper Cienega Truck Trail, just north of Cooper Cienega and the Riverside/San Diego County line. The majority of mineral development within the district has occurred in Section 33, T8S, R3E, SBM.
