A former U occurrence/mine located in the E½ sec. 19, T28N, R10E, G&SRM, 8.9 km (5.53 mi) SSE of Cameron.

Mineralization is a U deposit wherein uraninite replaces cell walls of petrified wood in a carbonaceous, argillaceous sandstone lens in basal Petrified Forest Member of the Chinle Formation. Bulk ore was in a single pod with abundant carbonized plant matter. Uranospinite, uraniferous asphaltite, metatorbernite and possibly sabugalite were identified. Local rocks include rocks of the Shinarump Conglomerate Member, Chinle Formation.

Workings include surface openings comprised of an open pit.

Production was 2,501 tons of ore @ 0.31% U3O8; 0.06 V2O5 (1953, 1956-1958).

Analysis test results: 0.30% e U3O8; 0.20% U3O8; 1.8% CaCO3.
