Refractory clay quarries located near the village of Cañada de Verich. The opencuts, currently in operation, belong to the formation Utrillas. We can find groups of gypsum and pyrite and marcasite in carbonaceous clay and lignite. The calcite crystals appear in huge geode up to 40 cm in the limestones in the upper levels. Different mines are citated (ign.es): Mina de Folch, Mina Predio Mulet, Mina Predio Carmen, Mina Santa Bárbara.
Canteras de arcilla refractaria localizadas junto al pueblo de Cañada de Verich. Estas explotaciones actualmente en actividad, pertenecen a la formación Utrillas. Podemos encontrar yeso y grupos de pirita y marcasita en las arcillas carbonosas y lignito. Las calcitas aparecen en enormes geodas de hasta 40 cm en los niveles superiores de esta explotación.Diferentes minas son citadas (ign.es): Mina de Folch, Mina Predio Mulet, Mina Predio Carmen, Mina Santa Bárbara.
