The main outcropping formations are the Lindi, Chuanshan–Qixia, Wenbishan, and Tongziyan formations. Among these, the Chuanshan–Qixia Formation is the primary host stratum for the LFC ore deposit, characterized by dark-grey, medium-thick limestone layers. This formation is in fault contact with both the underlying Lindi Formation, composed of light-grey and fuchsia quartz sandstone, and the overlying Wenbishan Formation, consisting of grey-black mudstone and speckled slate. The Tongziyan Formation, comprising grey-black mudstone, is in disconformable contact with the Wenbishan Formation. The LFC deposit lies within a sub-fold zone on the northwest limb of the Bijiashan–Guangping overturned syncline. A total of 114 ore bodies are identified in the deposit area, primarily located in the lower part and at the base of the skarn zone above the F1 fault, between the C2c–P1q and C1l formations. The ore bodies are predominantly lamellar and lenticular in shape, with strike directions consistent with the skarn rocks. The mineralization process can be divided into the skarn-magnetite, quartz-sulfide, and carbonate stages.
