Le Bourneix gold deposit; Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, Limousin
An ancient gold mining area. Le Bourneix is part of the name 'Société des Mines du Bourneix' (Bourneix Mines Company) that worked this district from 1982 to 2001. Three deposits were exploited in the district: Lauriéras (in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche municipality), Cros-Gallet, and Mas-Vieux.
