A molybdenum prospect on Sulfide Creek below Mt. Shuksan. The mineralization was flakes of molybdenite in quartz stringers cutting diorite.
Alteration: Plagioclase Of Diorite Has Been Altered To Kaolinite And Sericite, And Some Of Biotite Has Been Altered To Chlorite; Silicification Of The Diorite Has Also Taken Place.
Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc
Deposit: Stockwork of numerous stringers and veins of quartz, many of which contain molybdenite, some of which is present in massive seams 3/4 in. Thick
