Cooper Lane Quarry is now owned by Heidelburg Materials. Formerly by Liter's and Hanson Aggregates. Geology is identical to the Atkins Quarry. Silurian and Devonian limestone.

Waldron Shale near the bottom contains abundant pyrite clusters and pyrite-coated fossils. Some large brachiopods contain calcite crystals.
