A former Ag-Au-Pb-Cu-Hg mine located in secs. 2 & 24, T9N, R7W, MDM, 3.8 km (2.4 miles) N of Calistoga. An additional name which applies to this locality is: Mount St. Helena Mine. Operated by The Banner Developmebnt Co. and V.C. Harrison. Operated in 1929 and 1930, also for a short period in 1931. Operated again between 1935 and 1941; closed in August 1941.
Mineralization is hosted in andesite.
Workings include a shaft, levels and winzes.
Production was recorded for 1888-18, 1925-19 (intermittent) over 1,300,000 oz. Ag; 10,000 oz. Au; and 60,000 pounds Cu with minor Pb.
