Cassera Sbiasere (or Cassera Sbiassere) is an area rich in boulders of rodingite, serpentinite, and serpentine schist, located to the south of Colle della Gianna and to the west of the contact between metaophiolitic rocks and limestone (the latter forming the ridge Rocce Losere-Punta Sea Bianca).

The most common rodingite mineral is grossular, which appears as orange-red crystals (var. hessonite) and sometimes also as yellow-pinkish and colourless crystals.

An unnamed impure magnesium silicate (UM2003-38-SiO:AlFeHMgMnTi), in the form of bronze astrophyllite-like crystals embedded in serpentine schist, is a probable polytype of carlosturanite (Kolitsch et al., 2003).
