Gold-bearing hydrothermal breccias of rhyodacitic composition, related to Paleozoic granitic porphyries intruded into Devonian/Carboniferous calcareous sediments and underlying rocks of the Precambrian basement.

The Longtoushan intrusive complex exhibits an irregular and equiaxial plane shape, encompassing an approximate area of 0.5 km2. The Longtoushan intrusive complex can be divided subvolcanic in the margin and intrusive in the cente. The lithology consists of rhyolite porphyry and granite porphyry, respectively.

Note:
Not to be confused with the Longtoushan deposit in the Dachang tin ore field.
