Thornton (1985) describes (with specimen pictures) of needle shaped brown dravite, striated, with triangular cross-sections, in granite from the Parapara Inlet, black iron-rich schorl in chlorite schist from Richmond Flat, and rare blue sapphire with tourmaline also at Richmond Flat.
