Abandoned quarry in talc-chlorite schist.

Located northwest of Erbendorf within Erbendorf Community.

The quarry is sometimes also called Kührangen Bruch. The origin of this name is unknown. Kührangen is the field name on the other side of the road. Two FFH (Flora-Fauna-Habitat) protected areas are officially designated there – one west of the road called Kührangen and the other east of the road called Steinbruch Erbendorf (Erbendorf Quarry).
