Property operated by Maryland Clay Products, Inc. Rocks exposed are of Cretaceous age and included the Arundel Clay, Patuxent Formation and Raritan sand. The area was worked for iron ore dating back to the early 1800's, but more recently has produced clay for bricks and other products.
