On the northerly extension of Wheal Mary Ann lode. Worked 1843 - 1871, producing 25,000 tons lead ore and 750,000 ounces silver.

A specimens of adamite in the Natural History Museum, London supposedly collected here 1953-55 by Arthur Kinsbury (1906-68) is now considered "undoubted foreign". This is one of a number of likely or definitely falsified Kinsbury localities.
