Supposed natural potassium permanganate, i.e., potassium manganate(VII). First example of the +7 oxidation state of manganese reported in nature.
First found on the western edge of the Bahariya Oasis, Western Desert, Egypt.
As of January 2025 the original description has not been published yet. It remains a highly doubtful natural occurrence and is quite possibly anthropogenic in origin.
