About Rozhdestvenskayaite Subgroup
Formula:
(Ag6,[Ag6]4+)(Ag4 C2+2)Sb4S12S0-1
In the A-site, group end-members either contain six III(Ag+Cu) cations (where Ag>Cu), or alternatively, contain a discrete metal-metal-bonded [Ag6]4+ polycation cluster. The latter cluster is accompanied by a charge-balancing vacancy at the S2Z site.
Additionally, the four M1(Ag+Cu) cations are similarly dominated by Ag. Related to the Zvěstovite Subgroup by Sb>As.
C2+ = Fe2+, Zn, Cd, Hg and/or other species.

Member of:
Biagioni et al. (2020) delineate the series of very Ag-rich tetrahedrites, where Ag > 8 apfu, belong to the rozhdestvenskayaite series. Endmember compositions are Cu-free.
