Co-described with jolliffeite. Found as small, discrete, anhedral grains, with clausthalite and some unidentified selenides of Bi and Pb-Bi-Ag, within 'pitchblende'.
Optically quite similar to jolliffeite. Could represent a Se analogue of either cobaltite or glaucodot.
