About Cobaltite GroupHide

Formula:
AMX
A = Co, Ni, Rh, Ir, Pd, Pt (may also contain considerable Fe, especially in Co/Ni members)
M = As, Sb, Bi
X = S, Se
A group of metal-semimetal sulphides with cubic or pseudo-cubic crystal symmetry.
The most common members are cobaltite (CoAsS) and gersdorffite (NiAsS).
Mutual substitution of component elements is widespread.
