Name:
Named in honor of Edgar Huen (b. 27 May 1947, Milan, Italy), a mineral collector and an expert in Alpine fissure minerals and worldwide systematic mineralogy. He co-discovered the mineral.
Chemically close to lindgrenite, markascherite, and szenicsite. Structure of the mineral is determined.
Reported as copper-molybdenum oxy-hydroxide mineral. Associates include an unknown pale purple phase.
