Comments:At the Narre Warren quarry "The pyrite veining the brecciated clay is generally massive but may form bright, hemispherical groups of multiply-twinned crystals up to 1 cm across in open spaces. The only other occurrence of pyrite is as microscopic capillary growths associated with phillipsite crystals in some of the cavities."
