This mine worked chiefly on two lodes, one of which is named Tin lode on the mine plan, although there are no records of any tin production. Considering its strike and dip, it is believed to be the Great Flat lode. The other lode, located further south, is unnamed. From 1846 to 1849, 2,700 tons of 6.3% copper ore were produced.
Mine is also known as Wheal Buckets; incl. East Wheal Uny.
