A Mn occurrence/claim located in sec. 29, T19N, R7E, MDM, 2.3 km (7,700 feet) ESE of Challenge, on the NE slope of Pike County Peak, on National Forest land. Discovered in 1918. Owned by Fred Clemens, California (1974). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Ore in sight is 15 feet long and 1 to 3 feet thick, exposed to a depth of 5 feet. The ore is unoxidized, or partially oxidized, rhodonite. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
