A former Cu mine located in sec. 35, T16N, R5E, MDM, 3.6 km (2.2 miles) ENE of Hammonton, and about 4 miles W of Smartville. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate. The ore body strikes N40W and dips nearly vertical at a thickness of 0.91 meter. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a total length of 9.14 meters, and comprised of a 30 foot deep shaft.
