A W-Au occurrence located in secs. 12 & 14, T2N, R16E, MDM, 2.2 km (7,300 feet) SE of Confidence, along the North Fork Tuolumne River, near/at its confluence with Johnnie Gulch, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite and limestone. Quartz veins appear related in part to W mineralization, although no scheelite is found with the veins. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface openings comprised of a single pit or trench. Widths exposed in the trenches are 2, 4, 6, 9, 15 & 17 feet. No commercial ore bodies have been found.

Analytical data results: Best exposures are less than 1% WO3.
