A Au-Cu-Ag occurrence/group of claims located in sec. 29, T2N, R14E, MDM, 0.4 km (1,500 feet) WNW of Tuttletown (on the SW slope of Jackass Hill), on private land. Property consists of 2 claims covering 45 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with 2 veins, hosted in slate. The ore body strikes N35W and dips 65NE. Only one of the veins has produced. Two l;enses of ore, one having been 147 feet long, and of high-grade. Local rocks include Undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a North shaft with 6 levels. The 4th & 6th levels extend North. From the South shaft, on the 160 foot level, is a South drift 385 feet long. Also, on the 260 level, there is a South drift 120 feet long. Crosscuts on the 6th level of the North shaft connect with the South shaft.
