A former lode Au-Pb-Cu mine located in sec. 13, in the NE¼SE¼ sec. 23, & in sec. 24 (claim located at common corners), T2N, R15E, MDM, 0.9 km (2,800 feet) NNE of Belleview (6 miles NE of Sonora), on private (patented) land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. This mine was formerly known as the Hyde but was later renamed the Belleview, and in most recent reports was held under an agricultural patent.

Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit with 2 veins, hosted in granodiorite. The ore body is pinch & swell in form, strikes NW and dips NE. 2 quartz veins are separated by 60 feet at the adit level, and share the same fissure in lower levels. One vein is formed of brecciated quartz, the other has a ribbon texture. No intrusive matter occurs in the veins, but both are auriferous, ranging in thickness from 3 to 20 feet each. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include unspecified surface openings and underground openings comprised of a pitching, inclined shaft 5 (??) feet with 4 main levels, a drift adit, and several drifts off the shaft with little stoping.
