Mineralization is hosted in marble and granodiorite. The ore body is lenticular in form at a thickness of 2.44 meters and a length of 6.1 meters. Comprised of tactite in quartz-biotite schist. Three small, partially altered layers of marble. The ore body is exposed in trenches, no outcrops. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 54.86 meters and comprised of 2 short adits and trenches.
Production data are found in: Goodwin, Joseph Grant (1958).
Some ore was shipped. No production values available.
Analytical data results: 0.3 to 0.4% WO3. A small part of the tactite contains 0.5 to 1.0% WO3.
