A former Pb-Ag-Cu-Zn occurrence/mine located in sec. 29, T19S, R31E, MDM, 5.4 km (3.3 miles) NNE of Camp Wishon, along Burro Creek, on National Forest national monument land (Sequoia National Monument). Operated in 1943. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in limestone, schist and slate. Mineralization replaced limestone beds intercalated with chlorite-sericite schists and black slates. Local alteration includes chloritization and sericitization. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 18.29 meters and an overall depth of 3.05 meters and are comprised of a 10 foot shaft and a 50 foot adit.
