A former lode Au mine located in secs. 18 & 22 (apparently 2 locations), T36N, R9W, MDM, 5.6 km (3.5 miles) WNW of Seven Up Peak, in the headwaters area of Willow Creek (1.2 miles NE of the Morris Meadows campsite), on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in quartz diorite, porphyry, alkali-granite (Alaskite), rhyolite and mica schist. Dikes of diorite porphyry, alaskite or rhyolite and biotite-quartz diorite cut mica schist in sec. 18. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow workings.
