An asbestos occurrence/prospect located in the NW¼ sec. 6, T39N, R6W, MDM, 4.4 km (2.7 miles) N of Sherer Ridge, along the Trinity River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
