A former Au-Pb-Zn mine located in the S½N½ sec. 5, T33N, R8W, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) N of Lewiston, along the W shore of Lewiston Lake, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in granite and slate. The ore body strikes N35E and dips 90 to 60NW at a thickness of 0.61 meters. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 150 foot adit on the most easterly vein. A 50 foot incline and shaft on the second vein, and a 14 foot shaft. The third vein has a 50 foot shaft.
