A Cu occurrence located in secs. 11 & 12, T33N, R6W, MDM, 4.4 km (2.7 miles) SW of Mammoth Buttem (coordinates of record), N of South Fork Squaw Creek, on National Forest land. The property consisted of 12 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in rhyolite. Alteration is local (hydrothermal).
The upper limit of the Balaklala Rhyolite is composed of crystal tuff. Gossan occurs in porphyritic rhyolite of the middle unit in the Balaklala Rhyolite. The middle unit appears relatively thin in this area. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with a total length of 762 meters.
