A Zn-Cu-Pb occurrence located in sec. 4, T33N, R2W, MDM, 1.6 km (5,300 feet) SSW of Sugarloaf (coordinates of record) and 2.5 km (8,100 feet) WNW of Ingot, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in rhyolite The ore is limonitic with heavily disseminated pyrite and some places of minor chalcopyrite in siliceous matrix, as found on the dumps. Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range).
Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 60.96 meters. Openings include 4 short adits and several pits. A drill hole cut 13 feet of rock containing 1.2 - 11.9% Zn.
Analytical data results: Cu 50-1,350 ppm, Zn 70-230 ppm, and Pb 0-40 ppm.
