A Hg occurrence located in secs. 4 & 5, T32N, R1W, MDM, 4.1 km (2.5 miles) SE of Oak Run, N of Clover Creek, on the divide between Rosebriar Creek and Lawrence Basin. Discovered 1898. Owned by R. W. Byers (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a Hg deposit (Deposit model: 179: Silica-carbonate Hg), hosted in meta-rhyolite. The ore body is disseminated, fracture coatings, thin seams and vugs. It strikes NW and dips 30 at 30.48 meters wide and 402.33 meters long. Controls for ore emplacement included a shear zone. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).

Workings include underground openings including shallow shafts, drifts, and pits.

Related tectonic structures include the Klamath Mountains.

Production data are found in: Lydon and O'Brien (1974); and in Holmes (1965).

Prospected intermittently between 1898 and 1915 but no commercial-grade ore was found.
