A former Ag-Au-Pb-Cu-Zn mine located in secs. 16 & in the NW¼ sec. 21, T31N, R6W, MDM (sections projected, coordinates estimated), 2.7 km (9,000 feet) NNE of Petty Butte (coordinates of record), on the divide between Clear Creek and the South Fork Clear Creek. The property consisted of 3 claims. Production years were prior to 1913 through the 1920's. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in andesite and quartz diorite. The ore body is pinch and swell in form, strikes N10E and dips 50E, at a thickness of 3.05 meters. The footwall is granite and the hanging wall is nmeta-andesite. There are 2 parallel veins, one in a lenticular body 50 x 2 feet, of quartz diorite. The veins consist of black, carbonized slate, partially replaced by quartz and cut by quartz stringers. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Workings incklude underground openings comprised of several shafts, all but one of which are in contact vein.

Production data are found in: Lydon, P.A. and O'Brien, J.C. (1974).

No production figures were recorded (Au & Ag).

Analytical data results: 215 oz/ton Ag, 0.08 oz/ton Au, 6.6% Pb and 25.2% Zn.
Gold and silver assayed at $10.00/ton (1922) (period values).
