A former lode Au-Fe-S mine located in sec. 23, T31N, R6W, MDM (coordinates estimated), 2.3 km (7,600 feet) SSE of Mule Mountain (coordinates of record) and 2.4 km (7,900 feet) NW of Centerville, E of Clear Creek. Property consisted of 4 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in diorite. The ore body is tabular, strikes NE and dips 90 (vertical), at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Host rock near intrusive contact with greenstone, breccias. Contact metamorphism occurs in the country rocks on both sides of the main vein. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a single 400 foot long adit, which cuts the vein at 150 and 250 feet.
