A former lode Au-Pb-Cu mine located in sec. 23, T31N, R6W, MDM, 2.7 km (8,900 feet) S of Mule Mountain (coordinates of record) and 2.9 km (9,400 feet) WNW of Centerville, and about 2 miles NE of Igo. Property consists of 5 claims. Located 1885. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in andesite. The ore body is tabular, strikes N and dips 75E, at a thickness of 0.91 meters. Ore control was a fault fissure at right angle to the strike of the country rock. Pockets yield some coarse gold occuring in 3 parallel ore veins. The veins occur at the contact between host rocks. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 19.81 meters. Only one of three veins is developed.
No record of production.
